OH
MY
GOD

If somebody asked me to recommend him one album, any album of any genre, with the only criterion being “awesome”, this is that album. I stumbled across this a year or so back and couldn’t believe my ears. The genre description might sound a little weird, but these guys play “old school” black metal to perfection, adding in their own twists, giving this record (and this band) a truly unique and defining personality. To this day, I still haven’t heard anything quite like the style Megiddo play.

The production isn’t bad, but it’s not squeaky clean either. It’s perfect. Hang on for a sec while I repeat myself again. It’s perfect. Every aspect of this album is perfect and I can’t get over it! Here, we have just the right amount of atmospheric riffing, combined with a demonic set of vocals (oh, how the vocals deliver!) and a downright sinewy attitude all coming together in such a way that can only be described as pure poetry.

That’s it. I’m done. Words can’t describe this album. I tried, but failed miserably, so now it’s up to YOU to fill in the blanks!

11/10

Unbelievable.
