Negură Bunget is one of those rare bands that mix atmospheric black metal with folk and pagan ideas that come out ahead of all the just putting out generic album after generic album fill with the same garbage. Tired of Satan worship? Tired of nihilism? This band will put you in a great direction. I've always compared these guys to Drudk or Allagoch, but ill leave that up to you guys.

Following a disagreement within the band, Negru (drummer) reformed the band with entirely new members, who have produced the newest album Vîrstele Pămîntului. Also included is Măiestrit, a reworking of Măiastru Sfetnic, done by the original band before the break-up
