This record is listed as a tribute in some stores, as a remix album in others... anyways here you have some huge fans of Akita, who have also become hugely influential in noise and electronic music (Russell Haswell, Jim O'Rourke and Autechre among others), doing what the Japanese main man likes to do most: sonic destruction aiming at noise deconstruction. Don't focus too much on the word "remix", there is no rhythm or melody to be found in this record. A fine piece of work, by the way.
