It’s been a while coming, and now the kings of widdle are back and packing a brand new album with their new frontman! Exciting times, people.
UK power metal heavyweights Dragonforce had gone all quiet on us after announcing their newest addition in the form of new frontman Marc Hudson, but the boys have sprung a double-whammy on us by announcing that they’ve completed work on their new album and will play London’s 100 Club on February 16!
“We are all glad to be finished in the studio, especially given that the new record is sounding fantastic!,” says guitarist Herman Li. “We’re looking forward to letting off steam at the 100 Club and announcing that in the Year of the Dragon, Dragonforce are well and truly back!”
The band have been working on a new opus since 2010, with the album due out in the Spring and serving as the follow-up to 2008’s ‘Ultra Beatdown’.
