This album is for all you technical sticklers out there. On "Tetragrammatical Astygmata", you'll find nothing but the most precise and accurate instrument-playing, making it painfully obvious how meticulous the band members are. Averse Sefira is squeaky clean Black Metal; very tight and focused. The drumming is excellent, full of incredibly complex maneuvers that you'll lose your breath listening to drummer The Carcass. Pretty wild.

The song-writing is also nothing to sneeze at. Mixed into this record are ridiculous amounts of tempo changes, with each song finding its own unique identity. As previously mentioned, the guitars are very technical and precise, almost cutting through you at times.

One more thing. The intensity on this album is overwhelming. There's almost never a dull moment, and this album zips along furiously, never letting up for more than a few seconds at a time. Sure to satiate the speed demon in all of us.
