Ótima banda sueca de melodic Black Metal que infelizmente acabou, mas que deixou dois petardos fudidamente soberbos.
O som era bastante influenciado pelo Dissection, só que ainda mais melódico, com bastante ênfase nos teclados e temática voltada ao vampirismo. Por causa disso eram injustamente comparados ao Cradle of Filth, mas musicalmente eram muito diferente deles.
A ultima formação era de apenas dois integrantes: Andreas Söderlund (bateria) e o lider Rehn (guitarras, vocal e teclados), que após dissolver o Abyssos, gravou alguns álbuns com o Evergrey.
