If you are anything like me, you are 1) very handsome and 2) currently fighting back the rising tide of bile in your throat due to that new Morbid Angel record. What a fucking bummer, huh? I mean, I wasn't expecting much, but I was sort of hoping I could at least make it through 50% of the tracks without wanting to kill myself. No such luck. It's absolutely 100% unforgivably atrocious, and it makes the supreme mediocrity of Heretic sound like pure unadulterated genius. I wish I could find the energy to describe just how awful it is, but I can't be bothered to waste any more of my life thinking about it, not to mention that these guys are right on par with my thoughts (if not a little too forgiving).

Here is something to cleanse your palate, though. The fine gents of God Harvest sent this my way shortly before my weekend trip, and it's an awesome slab of powerfully violent hardcore/punk in the vein of Backstabbers Inc., Nails, and Trap Them. Six quick tracks breeze in, stomp your Morbid Angel records into oblivion, and take off. No bullshit. They are also from Florida, which is where Assück were from. I've discovered that if you listen to this 3 or 4 times in a row, it should just about be enough to obliterate the memory of Illud Divinum Insanus from your primary memory.

Please believe me when I tell you that you are gonna need this.
