Collaborative Tattooing - Saved Tattoo NYC

I'm not sure how many of you are interested in this type of thing, but my buddy Taylor directed this cool short film on a collaborative back piece by artists Thomas Hooper and Chris O'Donnell. Pretty awesome to see intimate footage of two of the best tattoo artists in existence working together. If you've never subjected yourself to large-scale tattoo coverage like this, let me assure you that it is truly a miserable experience. Twenty minutes into it, you're thinking "why did I do this? Why would anyone do this?" and start considering ways to turn whatever huge dumb tattoo you just started into a tiny yin yang symbol or whatever and just peace the fuck out. You can actually see the horrible realization of the situation spread across Ryan's face right at about 2:20, as all the impending hours of incessant needling come crashing into his brain.

And yeah, you might under the misconception that getting your ass tattooed would be 'funny', but I'd like to point out that it's actually one of the most irritatingly god awful sensations you can experience... almost on par with listening to the new Morbid Angel record.
