------------------------------------

This is the real deal, folks! My own rip of the EP, and not the fake compilation of tracks that have been floating around as of late. Limited to 100 pieces, my copy features the black artwork on a home-made silk-screened case with a hard-to-read insert and a match inside!

Skagos's latest effort (at least in terms of availability to the public), this EP features two songs from the full-length Ást and a new-ish song, a sort of Wolves in the Throne Room cover/interpretation that just so happens to be one of the best tracks on this EP! Not too much has changed within these songs, so expect the same old Skagos tearing it up with their unique brand of black metal, indicative of "collapse" of... well, everything. Listening to this music is like slowly falling into a hopeless abyss forever and ever. As for the WitTR cover interpretation, Skagos seems to have simplified the song, leaving on the bare essentials, relying heavily on the emotional response evoked in the listener. Call it what you will, this is another fantastic work from Skagos.
