As you may have noticed, I've been slacking a bit recently. Heh. Well, how about this: If you've been with me since the very start, you'll notice that my first ever post on this blog was Elhaz's Malemort. So, to announce my triumphant return, how about another Elhaz album! This time a brand new 2009 release. Long awaited my many (and with good reason, just listen to Malemort!), this definitely lives up all my expectations.

Slightly Depressive BM, we're hit with crushing and and almost "epic", crumbling atmosphere. Sort of apocalyptic, I dunno. There are several short ambient songs littered all throughout the release, helping to add to the dark and desperate mood. However, the length of the main tracks are still quite long, and very developed. A new addition is the inclusion of clean vocals. Oh hey, they're French! Some acoustic lead-ins and spoken intros create a gravely atmosphere. Recommended, as Elhaz can do no wrong.
