Here's my novelty pick of the month. Many of you have probably already heard of this infamous band and given this demo a listen, but still thought I'd share it with those of you who haven't. First, I can't pronounce the demo name. Can you? Too bad, I don't really care. Second, their band logo is fucking brutal. Yes, that white smear you see in the middle of the artwork spells out Senthil, and is a perfect representation of this music. Torture. This is one of the most unholy and maddeningly insane tracks out there. The music generally has a very evil vibe to it and consists of distorted, scratchy guitars, trying to claw their way out from oblivion. Next come the torturous vocals. Sounding like they're being asphyxiated, and gasping for air, in the same style as the desperate-sounding guitars- oh wait. Here's an excerpt from the Metal Archives:

"While recording vocals, the members intermittently strangled themselves with
chains."

Yeah, serious business. This gets pretty damn intense at times, and is broken up several times by more ambient, hypnotic, repetitive sections sometimes with a spoken vocal in the background sounding very angry, speaking some foreign language. Very painful. Definitely one for the kvlt archives in all of your collections. Oh hey, another excerpt:

"The first 15 copies are stained with the band members' blood."
