Classical is another of my favorite genres, and for good reason. There's something about it that grabs a hold of the listener and doesn't let go. So when I came across Profanum, magical things happened. Hailing from Poland, these guys play a highly classically-influenced Black Metal with some ambient elements, and it couldn't be done more perfectly. Infectious melodies saturate the entire release, and even though there are only two incredibly lengthy songs, my attention never wavers.
Really good stuff, and it comes highly recommended.
