Kate French foi descoberta por David T. Chastain em 1994 quando resolveu voltar suas atividades com a banda Chastain. Além de linda, Kate é uma guitarrista exímia e dona de uma voz rouca e potentosa, que deu mais peso e punch à musica do Chastain. Com a banda ela gravou três álbuns e atualmente também é vocalista da banda Vainglory.
