Frankie Hill: A Documentary

You fat sedentary metal slobs are going to hate this, but I'm posting a 10-part documentary series about former pro skater Frankie Hill. I had no idea this even existed until earlier today, it just popped up while searching for Pat Duffy's part in Questionable. What can I say about Frankie Hill? He was one of the most epicly gnarly skaters of all time, and helped usher in a new era of "big" skating. His part in Powell Peralta's Propaganda is still one of my favorite videos of all time: it's mind blowing that this scrawny little stick figure of a kid was tackling some of the biggest rails, stairs and gaps ever attempted without an iota of hesitation.

Huge balls come with a price, though... Frankie's promising career came to a screeching halt after a hard slam blew out his knee in 1992. In this documentary, Frankie lets us know what he's been up to for the last decade or so, talks about skating now vs. then, walks us through some old victories and defeats, and even cooks some bacon.

Remember, when you see shit like this, you'll know where it all started.
