An instant classic from this San Francisco based quartet of demented southerners. Not only did these guys knew how to completely destroy all notions of pop music as known up to that moment (mid 70´s) but also showed a confronting attitude much more intelligent and effective than any punk or extreme music cultist that would become hip in the following decades. The Residents learned the lessons taught by previous devotees of the irrational such as Frank Zappa and Captain Beefheart, taking them to a completely new level of irreverence and insanity. And they keep themselves ahead of the pack even today.
